Messy Desk Grids
Messy Desk Grids was a fun little social media experiment conducted over a couple weeks. The objective was to try and track facebook group members' lives by way of the state of their desk.
The Description: Every messy desk has a story. Post yours here by grabbing a few items and assembling them in a nice orderly fashion. For those of you who detect the irony, Congratulations!

It was very interesting to see how the functions of facebook ie: tagging objects, started to cascade popularity, while at the same time subtley expressing sentimentality towards friends and family.
In 2 weeks the group grew to over 90 members, some in my social groups and some entirely unknown to me.
What's the next step? There are some ideas on the table: gallery show, Messy Desk Riddles, coffee table book. Who know's where it'll go? That's kind of the point.
